Boddington Old School Oval Upgrade
The oval at Boddington Old School is to be returfed as part
of a joint project. The oval will be used to host the Boddington
Soccer Club’s home games and as a venue for community
and sporting events including the rodeo weekend, music festival
and weekend markets. The project is due to be completed in
June 2008.

Boddington Folk and Music Festival
BGM continues to support the Folk and Music Festival held annually
in the town. Visiting Musicians such as Jebediah and Blue Shaddy
as well as locals from around the district entertained crowds on
the School Oval on Saturday 5 April 2008.
Dwellingup Playgroup
BGM has supported the Dwellingup Playgroup with funding
for the refurbishment of a 1961 Singlemans’ quarters
that will be used by the community group as a safe environment
for children and their carers to meet and play.
Football club cleans up
The Boddington Football club will lead a clean-up of the
verge along Soldiers Road to the Boddington Gold Mine entrance.
BGM granted the football funds for this work which will be
used to upkeep facilities. Similar arrangements will be offered
to other sporting clubs interested in participating in the
monthly cleanups to raise funds for local projects.
